Your heart is always filled with love
for everyone you know
You ask so little for yourself
You reap less than you sow
It’s time your goodness is proclaimed
For all the world to hear
There is no Mother more beloved
Than you, my Mother dear.
Happy Mother’s Day
Love you <3
It was a question we were asked to write a journal for today in english class. Thruthfully I didn’t really no the answer, but after thinking over it I came to the conclusion that I don’t think it does. I probably contradicted myself quite alot while writing the journal because really I’m still not truly sure. But pure love? I don’t think can exist between humans. A love between could probably start off pure, but relationships are constantly branded by things like jealousy, egoism, greed, anger, etc. that in the end theres always gonna be a stain and the love can’t be pure anymore. And its okay, we’re humans therefore imperfect. In psychology I learned about unconditional positive regard, which is when a person completely, irrevocably accepting toward another person. I guess this can be the closest thing to a “pure” love a love with out regrets, no strings attached and completely unconditional. In 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 it says Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. I believe that this is what pure love should consist off unfortunately we’re imperfect and though we may love like this at some point we’ll fail at one of them. Thats why I think that only God has pure love and only between Him and us can there be pure love, because He is pure, holy, and perfect. Maybe in a relationship through Him with someone else our love can be completely pure but otherwise it’ll always be flawed, and thats okay.
Love is supposed to be displayed everyday not just on a certain day of the year.
